Peoples Bank makes investment in Playground

Peoples Bank of the South announced a $10,000 investment in the Caryville Cares Playground. The project, led by a group of local young people, is working to bring the first inclusive playground to Campbell County. David Hickman, Peoples Bank Vice-President said that “the Bank believes this is a great investment in our community that will be beneficial for many years to come. Not only will the playground be used by those in Campbell County, but other surrounding counties as well.” “For more than 100 years, Peoples Bank has been making a difference in Campbell County,” said Playground Committee Member Tara Lee. “We can’t thank their staff enough for believing in our mission, and helping us bring a playground to life where every child has the opportunity to play in a safe environment.”
